Peter thank you for this comment, definitely it took me more than 10 min, perhaps like 30min but I did not have to remove the bumper. Morad, thanks for the video, it helped a lot to follow the steps of how to remove the radiator!

theres an easier way to get it out without having to take the bumper off. just remove the 4 10mm bolts from the top of the bumper and pull it back, then you can see 2 12mm bolts that hold the radiator brackets, undo them and you can push the radiator forward enough to get the 2 10mm bolts that hold the air conditioning condenser, its only held in at the bottom with slots. took me about 10 minutes to get it out. thanks for the video :)

You don’t need to attach it anywhere. It’s there because it will let the excess coolant out in some cases

I need to replace radiator on my 2005 Forenza but mine has two metal pieces on both top corners and these two pieces will no allow the radiator to come out of the engine compartment. Checking online some other people said that those two pieces will need to be cut of in order to remove the radiator. Do you know some other way?

Faced with the same issue on a Forenza. Did you need to cut them? I cant find anything online about it.

Jeff Gettman No I did not cut any of them. I just removed the electric fan, hoses, and other accessories attached to radiator and removed radiator throw the bottom of the engine compartment. You will need to remove all hoses and every thing attached to radiator. You will find bolts holding radiator to the body of the car. Be careful when removing transmission hoses because the thread on radiator is very soft and can get damaged very easy. After having the radiator area cleared it will be easy to remove and install the new one.

+Nyck461 Thanks for the response, my lower fan bolts were so corroded that i couldnt spin them off and couldnt get the grinder in there, ended up having to wrestle the radiator out of there. But its all done, got new bolts for the fan as well. running like a champ.
