Thanks! I ordered one a long time ago, but never installed. My 2011 Elantra Touring is now at 95K so I figured it's time. It should be a very similar process.

Hi, I saw your video, because I have a 2007 Hyundai Elantra, and lately I feel a strong gas smell particularly in that area, when I look under the car I watch this piece, I think it must be congested, notice that it is easy to change

So the fuel tank filter is different from the fuel pump filter right? Because that according to other videos on this car is located under the back seat in the center?

Do you need to remove the pressure in the lines before removing the hoses?

I have a 2010 Elantra GLS, is this part # for that model. I'm not sure if it matches with any '10 elantra model.

I got mine off of Ebay. In the video you will see the model number near the beginning. You should be able to Google it and find places that sell it.

2008 here with 157K miles and zero problems. Never changed this part and never had any engine light. I don't see any point on change that part.

Whats the function of that part is it like to aerate the fuel tank or something?

+dddarien From what I've been able to gather, it keeps dirty air from coming into the fuel tank. I've read that if you drive a lot on dirt roads, it's better to change it as directed in the owner's manual. Otherwise it may not be as necessary.

+dddarien Every fuel tank is vented in some way. These models just have a filter in place, but it isn't very common for many other brands.

It could if you failed to securely place the connections back in place, or severed one of the vacuum hoses. But it everything was done correctly it shouldn't
