Reader please note: Install new rubber gasket around new fuel pump. After placing the pump inside the tank, push it down far enough that the black gasket goes down inside the opening. At that time you will be able to screw on the cover. This video was very instrumental in my success of changing my fuel pump. There were just a couple of things that were over looked. And because I’m not a trained mechanic, I need all the tips to do the job successfully. My Honda CRV now runs great. No bucking. No hesitation. Thanks to this video!

Thanks for the video. Noticed that the original pump had a black O-ring at the top, but the new one didn't. Was that forgotten? It is nice to have the right tool to unscrew/screw that locking ring!!

Is this the filter or the pump? I can’t find it anywhere online that breaks down in words what’s what. I know in the UK model it’s up with the engine and that’s all the videos I seem to find.

Fuck yes it's annoying as all fuck. First the beeping, then the radio. Half the video is contaminated with demoralizing bullshit.

My fuel gauge range meter is going up and down what can be the problem ? I filled it up and it was at 250 miles and then it went to 230 miles and then it went back up to 260 and was driving and it went down to 190 and now it's back up to 210. Why is it going up and down when I only filled it up once

There is no check engine, it did say check fuel cap the other day I tightened it and went back to normal but this keeps happening

@@David-nb8qo Hey there, I've seen that range change driving over different slopes. The fuel level in the tank at the float will change going up and down hills. NBD. Relative to the fuel cap, I did solve a check engine light (Can't remember the code) by pulling the cap, cleaning the gasket and applying a little silicone grease.

You actually showed us how to remove the fuel filter assembly. Not the actual electric pump from the fuel filter assembly. That's a bit trickier.

they usually come as complete modules. 99% of the shops/mechanics will remove and replace the module, which has the pump and filter in one assembly

Bro take the key out of the ignition. 10 minutes of listening to that will drive anyone crazy.
