About the charging more for certain cars: you make a good point about the responsibility, but another thing is that cars like Mercedes and BMW have more little fancy trims, covers, and things to remove that take time which add into the labor cost, and each one of those pieces could break and it will cost $ to replace. Thank you so much for showing this. I am replacing my seat cushion cover as well. I can remove the seat off the cabin ground but I absolutely cannot figure out how to disconnect the seat belt from the left side so that I can remove the seat cushion. I can't find any other videos that show my seat like this one. Would you mind sending me a video on how to remove it? It would be a huge help. Thanks so much again 👍

Hello! What is the purpose of sewing around the edges before you attach the top and bottom together?

I had to do this by hand not with the machine omg the most difficult part is the time it takes.... Now I'd rather just go get the one already made and take the old one out then put the new one in, because they don't sell the mb-tex fabric not even on ebay, they sell it already made and yes it's more money but if you don't have the machine to fix it is better!

Excellent work 👍. How do you repair damaged foam with the heater wire in the foam? I thought you can disconnect the car battery before removing the seat to avoid activating the airbag light

Yes I had repair seat foam with heat wire on i has to remove the tire the heat cloth and put it back

The American MB from 2012 i think soon as you disconnect the seat airbag sensor will activate

I agree with @dare2scheme. I believe if you first disconnect the battery, then disconnect the airbag, then reverse that in the installation, the computer will never know that it was disconnected.

My friend just buy the scaninng machine for few hundred bucks and you can clear the airbag code yourself

If you don’t turn on the ignition while the Airbag is disconnected, the light will stay off! I do these seats all the time for car dealerships. Never had one turn on.

Not on this kind o MB soon as you disconnect the seat with the ignition off airbag will activate a I do a lot Mercedes too Mercedes Benz who are sended to USA are like that I not sure about MB that are sending Asia south America or Africa ..
