They won't not that they can't. How much do you think it would cost to service that watch? I'd guess probably more than the watch is worth several times over.

I work for Swatch and I thought this was dope man, I always tell my customers that it’s possible to get their swatch watches fixed, but they would have to find the right watch maker who was willing.

Since you work for Swatch, would you know if replacing the cases on the plastic swatches is possible? I have a few that the area the strap connects to has cracked and I don't want to lose the watches. I'd like to swap the movements into another case if possible, apparently the age has made the plastic brittle, bought them all new about five years ago but they were vintage early 90s models. Thanks for any help

Excelente trabajo, muy detallado y ordenado, y dando pauta suficiente para verlo bien. Solo una duda, ¿porque no remacha la tapa del movimiento? 🤔, bota los remaches pero cuando la pone de nuevo en su lugar, no la fija....

Thanks for the helpful video, I may get to try with any luck. I have a few swatch watches that the area the band goes has broken, so I can't wear them. Would you know if a replacement case is available for the plastic swatch watches, or if there is another brand case I can put the swatch internals into? I really love the automatic swatches and the face and want to wear them again. Thanks for any help!

Great video thank you for sharing! Was that clay you were using to clean the parts? Also, I didn't see you oiling parts(or maybe I missed it cuz I was skipping back and forth to watch and rewatch). Do you know how to open a plastic case Swatch watch, if possible? Or is the laser seal makes is impossible? I have a mint condition Musical swatch that is not working =(

Hello! Thanks for watching my videos! This clay (Bergeon Rodico 6033 Cleaning Clay) plastic does not need lubrication, only the central shaft, watch the video. plastic case The Swatch watch can be gently opened, you need to have special equipment.

@@watch-repair Thank you for the info! Also, are you just using a sharp small knife to get the bezel off? I have a aluminum medium irony I would like to service. But I am having difficultly removing the bezel with a watch opener knife. My blade might be too thick (your knife certainly looks very sharp and easy to get under the bezel).

I have a question please : I have guess watch model no. 113515G1, this watch I tried to change the battery, but when I did I damage the closer where it should be over the battery, then I use a small aluminum sheet and put it instead of that, the watch working very well and after 3 days the second hand is working continually and the other not. the minute hand and hour not working. Humbug..it is a molded caliber..once removed can't be fixed.also you can't pluck out stem..it will break..top glass is fixed firmly with adhesive..you have to break remove the glass.

At 0:36 you just pull out the crown without "releasing it" from the mech first. I know you could not - at that stage - access the internal crown release button...but would this technique not damage the Swatch?

the cost of repairing it would far outweigh the cost of a new swatch watch or a new movement

Where are your finger cots? talk through the procedure, instead listening to the music sought of a distraction..... Can this be done on other swatch watches besides the Ironies? Good show!

Can I send you my wife swatch that she really likes for repair ? Just let me know how much it would cost? Your reply will be appreciated....Are you based in the USA though?

Another thing to keep in mind are the costs of the repair! Fe a new swatch 51 will cost about 140 euros...if you have to pay more then 100 euros (very likely) for a reparation...you are better off buying a NEW watch inmho!! especialy iof the watch is older. Btw repairing a complete plastic watch will be much more difficult offcourse.

You have not aligned the hour and minute hands properly. Also, no point in using Rodico putty to clean when your fingers are dirty and you are not wearing finger gloves.....

Salve le scrivo perché ho smontato un orologio simile per sostituire la corona rotta dopo un urto. Dopo aver tolto la corona ed estratto il meccanismo per intero ho trovato un anello o ring ma nella fase del rimontaggio non ricordo la sua posizione. non ricordo se va messo sotto la corona oppure dietro il meccanismo . Sé mi potrebbe aiutare gli è né sarei grato grazie.
