how to repair/restore damaged car speakers

Hi fellow petrol-heads in this video I will show you how to repair damaged broken car speakers. First of all measure the length of your car speakers. the size should be between 7-inch or 4-inch. Then you will have to buy new speaker parts according to your speaker size. The parts are very affordable you can buy it from any nearby speaker shop or online as they are very common and can be used to almost all types of speakers. see the video and if you are having any difficulty feel free to ask in comments.

Love this! Needs more views and likes. Something that I noticed on my kicker CSC65 is that there is no screw on the back of the magnet. It appears that the tweeter is glued down from the front face.

did you remove the sticker from back? because the screw is usually underneath it.

5:24. The white piece of cardboard is broken in half on my left speaker. The metal also broke in half. Tried to stick a moving dolly in my truck.

So the center of the speaker isn't attached to tweeter
which adhesive is used to fix the cone??

I used Cementex. It is a solvent based adhesive formulated to work best for shoe and leather crafting works. Silicone glue will work too.

@@WePetrolheads How much the ohm value of the coil and wire cross section(Thickness of coil wire) ?
My 6x9 bass does not work anymore but voice works fine. What do i need to replace?

if the voice works fines, this means that voice coil & tweeter is ok. However, there might be an issue with spider or cone. check if both parts glued with metal body, if not or if they are broken/ripped then you will only need to replace those. spider and cone.

both speakers repaired in 1200rs and new pair of speakers having same output power cost around 6000rs. repaired in $6.80. new pair will cost $34
I think you doesn't know how to repair speaker that's you used cementex between the coil and spider cementex is not hard solvent it is for lether carpets etc you should have used magic glue or you didn't fix the coil in magnet from x ray
