I like the work

Quite similar to the work I had been doing when it came to solid state amplifier repair except the STKs were available (1972 to around 2000). I got so experienced with transistor amps that I even made some from scratch in the late 1970s early 1980s. They still work now, trouble free.

This may be possible....BUT, STK's were designed with overload protection, thermal shutdown and bootstrap features. Akai designed circuits around available semiconductor devices at the time. This is a dire straits situation if no STK's are available then yes. Sound characteristics may differ since transistor hfe are not exactly the same. Unless STK specify equivalent transistor circuits.

yes you can, but dont forget the driver transistor inside (stk) you need to check it for biasing. ;P

не так давно ремонтировал усилитель TRIO-7500. там тоже была сгоревшаю микросхема(микросборка) TA-100 (типа STK). Цена на нее очень высокая, порядка 200$ Пришлось проектировать и травить плату взамен этой микросборки.

I agree. You can't replace a Darlington IC Circuit with just 2 bipolor transistors and then expect it to work properly.

Hello, I have 5.1 surround sound system(home theatre) here is the problem Couple of months ago it stopped working, as in it doesn't amplify the input sound to the speakers. But just yesterday, accidentally I plugged it to 110v source(normal 220v) and it worked, of course there is a buzz sound coming out it(I guess that's because of low power), on 220v it's still not working. What could possibly have gone wrong?

STK0039 es cuasicomplementario, lleva 2 transistores NPN, y el STK0040 es complementario, lleva un NPN y un PNP, además esos son darlington, el A1943 y el C5200 no lo son, necesita transistores drivers, falta el ajuste de bias también.

puedes reemplazar el integrado con dos irs 2092 que venden en ebay cuesta 15 $ americanos www.ebay.com/itm/IRS2092S-500W-Mono-Channel-Digital-Amplifier-Class-D-HIFI-Power-Amp-Board-FAN-/184033435092 siempre y cuando sepas donde esta la entrada de audio y salida del integrado puede ser reemplazado con otro modulo ya que no los fabrican o los fabrican falsos

I did replaced (not knowing) the output transistors were Darlingtons with normal ones on a Crown D150 amplifier. It hummed like hell.😢 It won't work.
