I might just line my torso sides like this as a preventative measure, even. Prevent splits from ever happening!

I always get semi-discouraged when I find cracks in my armor; I always want it to remain perfect and pristine, which isn't realistic with what we do and how often we wear it. Great video and tips!

I've used this method a few times. Always got a few patches off an old t-shirt in my kit. Much easier than making abs paste. I also used this method to repair my garden hose pipe 🤣

Hi Dan! Aspiring welsh🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 trooper here. I want my first shadowtrooper armour and I've talked to lots of people on facebook. The best conclusion I've come to is stormtrooper-costumes in the uk. I'm not interested in getting into the 501st. I just want a trooper that's good quality, durable and looks like a trooper. Do you recommend them? They are also linked with jedi-robe

Hi Spell, I saw your post on Facebook. Thanks for stopping by my channel. To be honest, if you’re dead set on a ready to wear suit and it’s in your budget, you’ll probably enjoy it when it arrives. For me, as a big fan of the original stormtroopers, Jedi Robe and their off shoots wouldn’t be for me. I just don’t like how their products look compared with the original suits. This video runs through the differences. Perhaps have a look. @@cableguydan thanks very much! I've seen the video, I'm not bothered by every tiny detail like most 501st troopers are. And the shadowtrooper is all black so even if there are inaccuracies, they'll be well hidden in the blackness. Thanks for your help! Subscribed👍

Would a soldering iron not work to heat the cracked pieces up and remoulding it back together?

Hi Mac, Personally, I’d be very wary of using heat on ABS. With most ABS suits being around 1.5mm, I’d be concerned about the heat damaging the outer surface (melting all the way through). For me, this repair method is cheap and has minimal risk. ☺️☺️☺️
