I've heard of this kind of thing from old timers but to see it is interesting. It's funny, you see people prepping for the end times and wondering how they will get by when the time comes, over in pakistani I'm not sure they would even notice if it happened, I mean that in the best way possible. People in the top developed countries don't understand how good we have it.

I had a few teeth that were 50 percent damaged because if incompetent dentist s in the states. I went home to eastern europe. A dentist repaired all 5 of them. One of them had only about 30 percent left of the tooth. He said: let's see what happens. He built around that tooth until complete. Long story short. 6 years later, the teeth are still intact with no signs of wear. Oh, at a fraction of what it would cost me for one tooth here in the states.

My first thought too was that there was no way those broken fibres could be made good. But then they bonded a piece of tyre inside the tyre. I suspect it will work - just too difficult to codify into a repair scheme. Expressed warranty or not the user would demand replacement if it failed - so if they go on doing it ----------------.

I wonder if they ever get impact bubbles from the repair area where the steel cords aren’t supporting it

No because they now use a tube with that tire, the moment they do this kind of repair the tire no longer holds its structural strength so they add a tube to compensate. This kind of repair is done ofter in 3rd world countries

I would charge at least $100 for that repair. Still cheaper than a new tire... You guys are the only mechanic shop I sub to and watch regularly.

Very hard working people. Pakistani people are very creative and genius. Long Live Pakistan. People who are complaining about safety, this is used as a double tire, so the truck can still run with it completely punctured, as you can see in the video. Secondly, the new tire would cost close to $500, which is about almost a Month's salary, for the truck driver in that part of the World.

Mikor fiatal voltam Magyarországon is ugyanígy javították a teherautó gumikat. Csak már hamar elfelejtettük....... When I was young, truck tires were repaired in the same way in Hungary. We just forgot soon .......
