Morning Gary. If you are still there ask York if he knows someone who can extend the tow bar cross section it the corner of the motorhome to prevent it happening again. If it does happen again bolting off the 1 half ft metal extension is quicker and easier to straighten or fabricate.

We were well chuffed Sue, saved an absolute fortune and such a great job 😍

The specific problem in this case was that the fender was not accessible from behind in order to stabilize the structure first and then work from the front. In this case I chose to keep the fragments in place as I found them and try to squeeze the fiberglass enforced compound in between the fragments using those as the stabilizing structure. After curing all of the fragments became one piece again. The result was satisfying.

Great job, what colour code paint did you use? I've recently done a similar repair but not happy with the colour match. Your looks a bit creamier that the other white. My cab is Fiat 249 and the bumpers etc look the same but the new paint doesn't match exactly

Hi the original paint we brought was a bit too creamy, but we bought a white one to repaint the hood and that was a better fit. We bought Dupli color multi purpose coating in white, no colour written on, but white lid, it's a bit trial and error, hope that helps 😄

Hi, thanks for your comment, it wasn't necessary for this repair and it was a very inexpensive fix.
