How did you discover your bargain acquisitions-- the going-out-of-business tire changer and the tire balancer?

My tire machine, shop press, welder and brake lathe were all found on Craigs List. I watch that site periodically for items of interest. I was lucky with the lift table, I happened to be at the right place at the right time as they were thowing it out. a little oil and TLC got it working again. As far as the wheel balancer, being in the business you here about such things becoming available. Actually, the guy owned 3 repair shops in the area. He had just purchased a new much larger building and consolidated his 3 shops into one.
