how to render like an art god
sup b*ches
sorry for the cringey af title but I wanted to be up there with the big bois ynwim so that's that, anyway imo this one's legit one of the best videos I've made so far and I haven't seen this advice around that much
hope its useful!

usually art tutorials feel like they're created by the same people (cus it's probably good advice), but this one feels original, plus I needed this rn ty

Bro, your tip about the render balls is actually revolutionary to me. I will DEFINITELY be trying that later.

Hope it serves you well! for me it helped a lot and im still wondering why this isnt mainstream advice yet ._.
this tutorial feels like a breath of fresh air. when you said that we do not need to perfectly and fully render everything in the painting, something just clicks. thank you for the banger king 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

great advice, I've been discovering some of these things on my own. I personally think contrast is the core concept in art since it's present in everything, though of course there are other fundamentals that are crucial too. The book Light For Visual Artitsts has a lot of good info on how light affects everything, it's a book I'll be studying for years to come.

Glad u like the vid :) ❤ i partially agree with your take on contrast, and in my eyes the reason it's so important is that it's one of the core principles of Composition (along others)
ok but what if i like spending 8 hours a day at my desk rendering background objects that are barely visible

Didn't know him - Chacked him out - Super cool artist :) ty
I don’t think the act of rendering in itself is hard per-say but it’s actually understand the form of what you’re drawing all the way down to the nook and crannies that makes your rendering really good
@vikartstuf

I totally agree! It's basically just how light affects even the smallest details ^^"

I love how you always give out the easier and more simplistic ways to start things off rather than jumping right into the harder bits, and make learning things a lot easier for the baby art gremlins. I'd love to try this out, but I can barely colour properly lmao, never mind drawing a hand 😂 Keep up with the good work!! I just know that someday you'll be quite famous!! I'll be cheering you on always! 🙌🙌🙌

@@vikartstuf if I were to suggest a topic people struggle on, and would probably want a guide on, it would probably be anatomy and how to draw the pose you want to draw. It can be a real struggle if you don't get the hang of it, and it can be a real pain. I was thinking of some and it was the first one that came to mind :)
I just started digital and got a friend to teach me to render, and this isn't as different of what they told me, good stuff. The focus points i will use em tho
