Every Major scale has a relative Minor scale. They share the same notes but they start from a different position. For example, if you got three semitones down from C you'll land on A. C Major and A Minor share all the same notes except you're starting from A rather than C. When you're chopping a Major sample you'll need to be careful where you chop it, you just gotta train your ear to know what sounds right.
