How to remove transit bolts from your washing machine or tumble dryer

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

A great video from Indesit demonstrating exactly how to safely remove the transit bolts from appliances such as your washing machine or tumble dryer.
The transit bolts are there to hold the drum in place during transport. When you get a new appliance, you must remove them before using it or it can damage the machine. If you forget, you will notice the appliance makes loud noises and vibrates violently.

Great information here, we just bought a front loading wash machine and it was loud and dancing all over the floor , after a few goes we finally figured out what it was after watching this video , the instruction manual was useless in explanation or even where they were located , this was very helpful . 👍

Yeap had the same experience: the new dancing front load washer lmao 😆 I just figured out when I filed a complaint for the product and the store person told me to remove the bolts lol 😅 Then searched the internet for the specific information and only figured out through this video what is the reason behind for such a rocky machine. 🤣 It was like Michael's Moonwalk lmao

Thanks for the video. It helped me understand that not just the bolts of course have to come out but what surrounds them too-the plastic. But I spent nearly an hour trying to unscrew only the bolts! My bad luck was that the first 2 bolts came out easily but I spent a long time trying to do the same for the remaining 2.Moreover I should have looked more closely at the illustrations provided by Beko!

Did the trick with very good visible video to demonstrate; and clear explanation as to the consequences if one fails to remove these bolts. Straight-forward, clear and contrary to the previous comment -- This video DOES show how to remove the bolts -- Counterclockwise and out the bolt comes.

  • @LittleRichard1988

Is it now standard practice for manufacturers to fit transit bolts or transit pols through holes in the back of the washing machine? I always knew Miele used 2 transit poles inserted through the back but with many older washing machines you usually have a transit bracket fitted under the lid which means having to remove the top panel to remove or install the transit bracket.
