Have you ever been annoyed by the toolbar button here at the top of Chrome on Android? By default, this is set to dynamic, which means sometimes it appears as a new tab button, other times it appears as a share button.
This change in action makes it very unpredictable for me so today I'll be showing you how to completely remove it so that the address bar expands and takes up more of the toolbar within Chrome.

So, if you're tired of seeing this shortcut button in the toolbar of Chrome. . .
We can get rid of it by first tapping on the 3-dot menu icon up here.
And then selecting the Settings option from the overflow menu.
Now we're going to scroll down until you find the Toolbar Shortcut option.
As this is the place we can completely remove the button from the toolbar in Chrome.
Simply disable it via the toggle right here.
And that is all there is to it.
Now we can go back and view a website in Chrome
So you can see, the toolbar shortcut is no longer there. . .and it will no longer show up as long as we keep that feature disabled within the Settings area of the Chrome application.
