All these comments on the roof but you forget how unique and crazy to drive the car is. That roof procedure just brings some fun to your sunday trip and you wouldn't mind at all if you had one . From an owner

It is a bold move by Porsche in this era where most people don't even know how to use a screw driver to come up with a roof requiring some manual dexterity. People complain if a car's steering wheel is adjusted manually, imagine a roof.

I remember back in the 80’s trying to build a flat pack wardrobe from MFI. It didn’t end well. This would really try my patience .

It’s very likely it was designed for the roof to be off most of the time. I think it looks stunning and would have this in my garage anytime.

If I bought this car, I would insist that Porsche has a binding contract with the rain,which says no rain while i am driving the Porsche 718 spider.

It really isn't that hard, but it does take getting used to. But man, what a car. I love driving this thing.

To be fair it's designed to be a roof off roadster. Think of the roof as an emergency "it's raining!" solution.

If it starts raining, you would be drowned time you put the roof back on😅
