Do I have to remove the air vents above the radio also, to get to the clips on top of the radio. Is that why your vent is removed as I am trying to get my unit out but seems like something on the head unit top is stopping it?

@@TheRealCountryBoyModz aw hell. How difficult is that? Lol I’m replacing the previous kit on it? Or what do you mean? So back story is ex gf had my car and batttery died on her. A stranger hooked jumper cables up backwards unfortunately helping her and fried my radio so I was just getting a radio online and replacing it. What all do I need to buy? I found the radio online to buy.

@@ralph3538 ahhh I see if you’re going factory it’s plug and play and if you are going after market it’s pretty much plug and play with the metra kit wiring harness but sometimes some after market radios come with the harness plug in.. it’s not hard at all

It is a lot of stuff to take off. It is very different from a car I would have had in the 90s. Now these days everything has a custom faceplate and any non factory radio will look weird and probably not work.

Ivan I know it’s the wrong tools to use for those panels but I know what I’m doing though at the same time. Sometimes people do not have access to the right tools when they are doing projects of their own and this video is helping show that it can be done... just with a little TLC appreciate your feedback though! Also thanks for watching the video.
