IT WORKED!!! Thanks alot! I had two stripped 1.75mm screws on a expensive lens. I already drilled the head away and had only the bolt with 1mm left outside. I used a PC screw, flux (very important) and a solder station with tin-lead solder. It was very important for a strong connection to heat first the bolt from the stripped screw and solder then the prepared support screw on it til they had a good connection from the head. Then it worked fine after 2-5 retrys. I hope i clould help someone in future.

Help me, i tried this but it isn't working. How do i got about soldering, it just won't stick well enough to the screw in the motherboard and when i try to open it. The bond breaks.

@@siddhantalt1412 try to use different soldering iron as it may not be hot enough , also try to use flux .

@@ArihaanN no, it made a mess of everything. I ended up taking a small drill bit and hollowing out the screw so i could remove the head with pliers. Ugly but it worked out. This was on my ps4 power supply anchor screw as well, so a relatively delicate area

@@ArihaanN the superglue wasnt horrible but it didnt help and the tight space made cleanup impossible. Just a worthless effort

My hand is shaking I have no control on them I almost burned the device then I stopped. Like the nearest technician is about 50 mins. 😢

It is important .Flux is added to act as a temporary adhesive, holding the components until the soldering process melts the solder and fuses the parts

Try use lead & soldering top of screw to needle for rotary, to make lead sticky try using flux top of screw 👍🏻

The solder just doesn't stick to the screw for some reason I tried it number of time the screw is black in colour is that the reason why it don't stick?? What type of solder and flux did u use

@@Lukaspecial599 I was finally able to remove the screw using the soldering on top of the screw by putting a small screw driver horizontally and hitting it very softly with a small hammer, i hope this helps you.
