    Very helpful video😊The no-nonsense sealant remover is $27 plus tax and shipping in US😮 1. Use a cutter to cut sealant with an angle 2. Use a sealant tool with plastic corner tool to remove sealant 3. Use little broom and dust pan to remove sealant 4. Use an old clean damp rag to clean up sealant. Keep surface dry 5. Put sealant remover on any left behind sealant(avoid chrome) 6. Wait for 30 minutes 7. Use plastic corner scrubbing and flat tool to remove sealant 8. Remove debris with damp rag 9. Soap a clean dry rag with white spirit 10. Wipe where the old sealant was 11. Wipe finger on where old sealant was. It should be nice and smooth if not, use white spirit soaked rag on again

    I mean isn't this obvious. If it melts silicone in 15mins it will eat up the skin also. I bought silicone remover that you have to wait 2-24 hours. And never used it as i don't like to use chemicals. Also I think not all silicone need to be removed as silicone binds to silicone. Only visible silicone need to be removed

    Mate speak to someone who does this for a living. All you need it a knife and a stanley glass scraper. Silicone remover is a gimmic and is for people who have no idea and is basically a rip off. Use a thin chisel behind the taps. There is 1 right way to do it and it's not the way you have shown. Any Mastic Man or Sealant Applicator Specialist would remove that sealant in 10 minutes.

  • @POUSEaroundtheHOUSE

    @POUSEaroundtheHOUSE

    I'd rather someone didn't use a knife on my plastic bath. That's not to say it can't be done but in my experience, any trades person that could remove that in 10 minutes will damage the bath. No one will care about your house as much as you sadly and as speed was not the objective of this video then I still think it's a good way for a novice to complete the task properly without damage.
