No padding, no bs, just simple, pure instruction.

I had to watch this 7 times to accomplish the task. Amazing video; straight to the point, no chit chat; video superb for ANY language. You really know how to make an instructional video. I am subscribing! You serve as a role model for other instructional videos!

Mine was so stiff I had no idea that this was even possible

The Surge I took with me to Afghanistan in 2007 got doused in dish soap in transit on the way home. When I pulled it out it was a mess that I didn't want to deal with, I cleaned the soap off and stuck it somewhere. It ended up in my glovebox as it was. I didn't much care for it at that point anyway. Pulled it out today, I'm taking it apart and cleaning it. I kind of like it again, thanks for this video helped me get it cleaned up.

It is easier to do this with another tool. One problem with multitools in general is that you can only use one tool at a time. In this case you wouldn't be removing the blade unless you had a different blade to install, so you can use the end of the new blade to open this gate.

It’s alot easier to open the blade holder when the blade is in the half-way open position (~90 degrees).

the wave doesn't have the quick switch mechanism. You need to take apart the whole knife to replace parts.
