Useful again Simon! On the right hand side of the boot, that piece of simple plastic trim can also have the electric rear seat dropping switches as on mine so would have connectors etc on it. I will check mine again asap this morning but just a small detail for those with the “everything” rear seats and seven seat option. Interesting that you cannot replace any of the LED elements so buy a complete unit which I expect will cost quite a lot! Re my insurance cost research, I find the Defender is much cheaper that the RR, RRS or Discovery…roughly 25/30% less…good but I wonder why?? Meanwhile the RRS appears impossible now! Stay safe…keep working with Destiny and I’ll check my switches! 😃😃😃😃Richard.

Good video - again - but I *do* think that the rear lights of the earlier Disco Sport look much better than the later ones. These early ones are clearly distinctive and Land Rover; the later ones are a bit boring have no individuality. And… you know it’s a sport - the only way you can tell the difference between a D5 and a Sport is that he D5 has an offset rear number plate.

I have a really bad squeak coming from the tailgate. I’m told it’s the light cluster and that fitting anti squeak tape will fix….do you know where I need to fit the tape?

Can i ask, i need a replacement for the panel you removed for the light access on tailgate - what is it called as i can not find anywhere 🤔 Broke mine while closing tailgate when dog cage door was open. Many many thanks

brilliant saved me a fortune as I decided to hit the garage and broke the tail light

Simon, I know this is nothing to do with this video, but what has happened to the Defender spare wheel lock. I had one of the early ones which are supposed to being modified, but have heard nothing since and they are still showing as unavailable on the web site.

Are the facelift lights a plug'n'play fit ? I'm sure there are plenty of Sport owners who'd like to upgrade. If not, I'm sure with you'r genius, you could find a way to do it Simon.
