Nail Polish Remover is essentially acetone. Acetone breaks down the chemical bond to the ink dye. But it sets the ink and then you're stuck. Not advisable and highly toxic. Acetone also destroys fibers

I soaked my polyester nike shirt in cold water and then scrubbed with a toothbrush and then once a bit of it came out then I added dawn dish soap to the toothbrush and continued to scrub until it was mostly gone. It’s a faded stain now but it’s a hell of a lot better then it was. I saw something that said to use rubbing alcohol after trying cold water and dawn soap but I didn’t try it cause I’m ok with the faded. Hope this helps!

tried alcohol, baking soda, sanitizer, it wont come off. Then i tried bleach, THICK BLEACH..applied carefully on stain Only, brushed it a bit and it was completely gone. then i rinse it carefully with water. hope this helps you out too.

Tried a bathing soap to remove the whiteboard marker from my white uniform, it works

Thank you...but what to do with colored clothes? Everyone has hack or two but only for whites. I have a dupatta with some numbers written on it...probably came that way and I didn't notice because it is so pretty and who would think something will be written on it. It's a combination of blue and white stripes and unfortunately the writing is on the white part. Anyways I don't know what it is written with because no matter what hack I tried I couldn't even get to fade it a little...not even 001%. What can I do now....I have not even worn it once!!!

Nail polish remover worked! I have 100% acetone laying around and tried it ! Saved my white bedsheets. And for any more future marker stains from the kids !

For any Kacey clothing you can also, get bleach a toothbrush and handsome and scrub the marker off although you need to know what colors your changing and making

It worked.thank u soo much.you saved my new white bedsheet on which I kept a highlighter without capping.

Thanks, this seems to be working to get marker off the microfiber inside of my laptop cover! The lining is light gray but it seems not to be losing its color, but the marker is fading. I don't know why. I wouldn't try it on colored clothes.

The lining is probably some synthetic fiber, those are usually dyed in a way which is resistant to bleaching (the dye is embedded into the structure of the plastic itself).

No, it does not. The bleach in the bleach powder will take the colour out of the material.

I chuckled at the "This method is only safe for white clothing" note AFTER the bleach and toothpaste was applied, i think this would have been SMARTER at the start of the video XD

I think it will work. You may try. But be careful about bleaching powder. If you allow bleaching powder staying more time on the clothes, it may damage your clothes. Another thing don't apply this method if your clothes is colorful.

It will work. But don't apply this method if your uniform is not white. There is a chance of discoloration if you apply this method on colorful clothes.

It will work. If your hoodie is colorful, their is a chance for discoloration. Bleaching powder is used in this method & it may discolor your colorful clothes.

🤔UMM......☝🏻 QUESTION!! I was able to successfully remove permant matker from many articles of clothing throughout the years used my same tried and 100% true method of removing stains &yes! Even permanent marker!! How can I get the burnt edges white again? Because the surefire method to remove stains and marker from my cloths so they're completely gone never to be worried about or stress over just how much those stains will never come up out of ones clothes!!!
