Question. After replacing cluster control the miles are show from the new one or the original one? because I want to order one that has almost the same mileage but just wonder if it will affect the computer or something. because I have to replace mine since the display is not lighting

As far as I know in modern vehicles the mileage is stored in the ECU, meaning the cluster doesn't store the mileage. The cluster panel is just the display for the mileage recognized by the ECU. The new cluster will probably display the real mileage of the car. However in older cars the mileage should be reset manually if the cluster panel is changed. Thank you
