Very good video, really helped me, especially the part concerning the position of the handle and how to get the lock nut off. Other videos on this install did not show any of these important details. Thanks!

The video is super helpful. I just don't know whether or not it will matter when I go to do it because rather than the part being vertical it's horizontal in the middle of the lock. I don't know if you know what I mean but the oval part that the knob slides through. On my door my old block is missing but the part of the lock that remains is that oval part and it's turned the other way than it is in your video and pretty much any other video. I don't know if you'll see this coming or not but I don't know what to do about that

Would be great if someone had a video on the TBar assembly for it as well as opposed to the cable setup

Great video.. Quick question though, My cloplay lock does not hold and I am able to open my garage from the outside.. Would this be fix that problem or would I have to do something else?

Can I swap a non locking Clopay garage door handle for this?

Can this lock be attached to an opener also or does it need to be an ERK?

The lock on the out side have to be unlocked before the handel on the endside can be turned?

Couldn't you just give the sheet metal shaft lock a light hit on a solid surface and then push it on the shaft? Avoid having to knock down the tabs while on the door?

Why use the old one? If you’re replacing the lock, the new one should come with a new fastener, that’s not bent. 🤷🏻‍♂️ this is like showing someone how to change their oil, and then putting the old oil filter back on. 🤣

Home Depot sells these- also local locksmith shop will have them for sale.
