Thank you. underneath the bumper, the clips have screws that make them expand and clamp... so you can loosen those to keep from breaking any plastic,.

Really concise and helpful video. I am in process of figuring out if Leaf is a proper car for scandinavian occasional -20C to -30c degree winters, and was wondering if there is a way to install led bar extra lights behind the bumper. This gave a nice idea about bumper removal, seems quite easy compared to some other cars.

Yeah, before I removed the front bumper, I wished someone could show me how to do it, whether it is front or rear, as long as there are something, it could only help you to build confidence. Make photo/videos of the process so that you can put them back later.

maybe do one video on how to remove the Leaf's whole dashboard?

My horn stopped working yesterday and there seem to be no way to access it other than to remove the front bumper. Turnout the earth connector was broken at the horn. When putting it back the under bumper tabs were a pain to put back in, not to mention the two screws on the two sides.

glad to help. There are 4 options for your beautiful front bumper 😊 : 1. If you want to paint the panel, check out this video: kzread.info/dash/bejne/q4x2r5irkc_Se6Q.html 2. The second cheapest option is to search the auto junk yard😁 3. Buy a new front bumper from the dealer, but usually the new front bumper is not painted, you will need to spray paint it. 4. The next option is to take the front bumper to your auto bodyshop, they will fix it for you (they said $200 cheaper since I had removed it)

Some ding dong bump the rt front bumper pulling it out and looks some clips where broken. Where can you get the clips without going to the stealership?

I assume you are not talking about the bumper but the clips holding the panel? you may find them on amazon, search "panel Clip" "trim clip" "car plastic rivets" "push pin rivets" "retainer clips", there are many people selling them.

If you can't find similar videos for your model/make, make sure take photo or video for the removal so that you can put them back together.
