Hmm, It might be the case your friends on messenger turning on secret conversation with you as it affects the both parties, you get to see end-end encrypted even if they turn it on. Only way possible till date as a fix is to delete the entire conversation bud!

Mine's android as well. It should work try deleting conversation from both parties.

As soon as I go on “end to end encrypted chats” it says or “manage storage” or “security alerts”

May be some kinda version/region difference might have aroused that issue/difference. Hmm, please follow other solutions to the problem promptly apart from security keys.

Yeah but it makes no sense when you restrict user so it is kinda like turning off as you won't be using the encryption feature as you aren't eligible to message or call someone.

Meta rolled out e2e encryption by default to Facebook Messenger about 1 month ago.

@@shanegillooly2382 In your Messenger chat settings there's a option named by "Go to secret conversation", If enabled by your friend also, you'll get to see end-end encrypted message in your conversation but not everyone enables it and that's reason for why you are seeing some chats written as end-end encrypted but not every chats.

It didn't work, brooo. Other steps to remove?

At the time, I made this video, it wasn't turned on by default from messenger side. Because of it now it's next to impossible to turn it off.

Both parties have to delete it. For you, it's gone once you delete.

One chat is with end-to-end encryption enabled using Secret Conversation. Another chat is the normal conversation with the person without end-to-end encryption enabled. Why would I even fool you? You guys are like second family to me.
