How To Remove Duo Prop, Preventative Maintenance
In this video, I explain how to remove duo props from a Volvo Penta DP-E drive. Other Volvo Penta drives are very similar like the 290, DP-A, DP-B, DP-C and many others. Some of the tips seen and given in this video will help many with removing propellers from Yamahas, Mercury, Mercruiser, Crusader, Suzuki and others as well. Super important to know not only how to remove and install your prop in case of an emergency when on the water but also know how to maintain them. You don't want your propeller to get stuck or seized on the shaft. That can be a nightmare.
