Liked & subscribed. I had Seagate recover data from my drive. Not only did they send me a new 8TB HDD on warranty but they recovered my data on an external 4TB HDD but it had BitLocker encryption & was annoying because I had to enter a password on every reboot of my PC. Now BitLocker is gone! Thank you so much my friend! Easy process!

Drive f : in this video says unlocked, just protection on. This metode not work with drive still locked.

I have a good question can I do this taking out the hard drive from the computer that has bitlocker and reconnect this one as an external and do the commands?

how would I re-enable encryption. I dont have windows 11 pro so I cant upload my key the microsoft cloud using the gui. For now I just want to re-enalbe encryption in the command prompt.

I had the exact same problem: SOLUTION : do not execute se second command. Execute the first command , then execute the Third command .

Bro THANK YOUUUUUUU!!!!! EVERY time I turned my laptop off, I would have to search for this damn encryption key so I could unlock THREE folders in my drive. Stupid windows 11 dosent even have a bitlocker option smh

Tried to remove it from System drive but caught this: Disable-BitLocker : BitLocker Drive Encryption cannot be turned off on the operating system drive until the auto unlock feature has been disabled for the fixed data drives and removable data drives associated with this computer. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80310029)

How long does it take to decrypt
