I used this video to install cooler to Discovery 3, exactly the same process. The wiring on a D3 is there already, just a single plug to connect. The coolers with a blue led light switch are ignition live so no risk of discharging the battery. Thanks for this tutorial.

Was the connector for the cooler already in the car or did you have to fiddle with cables/electrics? i'm planning on doing the same in a D4

@@nathanpeters7033 the connector is there waiting, ready to connect to the cool box you're putting in.

Is there any additional parts /wiring /fuses/relays etc that are need to convert a lr3 with a standard center console to a cooled center console. I'd like to do the conversation.

Is this process very similar on the l494 RRS?

Do my exsisting arm rest works with anyone of these coolers, I bought a used one off a crash rrs but it's missing the arm rest, my RRS never came with the cooler box but will like to add it thxs

My console handle broke so I have to replace the entire lid but not sure how the phone doc disconnects. How do you disconnect the phone doc? Does the wire come off easily?

Mera Ioan Vasile - You can! I’m about to do it in my 2008 LR3. You’ll need an IIDTool or similar to add the item or wire it directly to switched power.
