I had repair it before just temporarily while doing a Dpf in it so not that ‘top job’ I used Gorilla glue & thought it would be fine 😬 fingers crossed the epoxy will do better 🤞

Great video! I've done a similar repair to stop the leaking adblue on my vw, but I have a question regarding that black plastic o ring at the tip of the valve that clips onto the injector. Mine has snapped and wondering firstly what it's called and if a replacement can be purchased anywhere?

I don’t a name for it & unfortunately the whole pipe can only be purchased. If you tried a breaker’s you might possibly get something 🤞🤞

any idea on what sort of pressure is in these ad blue lines ? new to me this ad blue stuff thanks for sharing.

Normally around 75 psi, so the pressure is quite high for repairing like this but the owner was trading the car in & wanted to try it, fingers crossed John 🤞

Thanks for the video! I have a skoda superb 2.0, identical leak as yours, can I do this in my backyard? Is it safe to use warm water?

Hy, i have the same problem, I were to service, the pipe is pretty expensive, how long the glue lasts...( or better immediately adble off? Thanks

It would make you job a hundred times easier if the customer let you replace the part. Instead of having to drive the car half way round the world

I know I was at another vehicle the other day that was challenging me & after 4 hrs of not knowing what was going on she asked me could I just do it fast & cheap 🤦‍♂️ Cheers Wackey

Not seen that vw engine varient before. Bet the pipe is a 1 piece that goes all the way to the ad blue tank and costs a fortune as well.

Ad blue spilled in my car boot space and now crystals have formed what to do

Try a wet soapy cloth & if that doesn’t work you might need to remove the carpets to pressure wash them 🤞🤞👍

I used a 2pack super epoxy adhesive. It is extremely strong stuff 😉👍👍

@@SpyZip No, it is a little bit awkward. From memory I think you spread the black plastic retaining clip. But take your time it can break easily 🤞🤞👍

I managed to break the clip on the elbow, which is a real pity…. Have stopped to consider next steps. Considering putting epoxy around the area where the line attaches to the elbow and then tape with heatproof adhesive tape and hope it works. Clip was very fragile

Do appreciate the video, pity I could not complete the job without breaking something 🤦🏼‍♂️

Today a light came on on the display indicating that the car would not start after 1000 km. I lifted the hood and found the same thing as in the video. The error is P20E8, the pressure is low. There may be a problem with what you're showing. Thank you.

The adBlu system has around 5 bar of pressure in it & if the system is leaking that pressure is far lower. So hopefully this will fix your problem 🤞🤞🤞

@@kennedysgarage3281 Thank you for your answer. I found the cause of the problem, as you show in the video, fluid is leaking in the same place on my car. I wonder if these are the ends of the hoses that are sold or whether it can be fixed without buying a new hose. Thank you

@@geck308 the are not sold separately (as far as I am aware) but you could possibly get one in a breakers 🤔🤔

@@kennedysgarage3281 In general, I completely checked where it was missing. Because the pressure is low, the liquid simply drips without reaching the adblue nozzle. I think this is a problem with the motor in the adblue tank. He cannot press the liquid into the nozzle.

Possibly, but technology is moving forward and just deleting something so we don’t need to understand how to fix it isn’t really the answer 🤷🏼‍♂️🤷🏼‍♂️

The mercedes own workshop manual gives the first step in the procedure to replace the adblue pipe as being " first , remove the engine " 😮😮😮😮😮🙈🙈🙈😂😂😂
