Yo Jeep Brother just saved my back and time doing this as I thought you have to take out floor bolts to remove. Just got a 97 TJ and working on cleaning out a badly treated Girl and this is just another saving video from the Jeep community. Peace my Friend. Gave a like and new sub.

Thanks a bunch! I appreciate you making this video and sharing your knowledge 🙌🏼✨ Prior to your video, I knew how to get the top folded down and the whole thing flipped up. It was GOLDEN to learn about how to actually get it out (sheer brute force wrestling wasn’t working for me 😂). I have a 2001 TJ w/ 210k miles. I’ve owned for 10 years. I love it but don’t do much with it other than drive and enjoy. Now that I’ve got you/your channel as additional resource: ain’t no telling what I’ll learn! Thanks again. ✌🏼😎 🚙 💨

I have an 04 and I hate that they changed that design. Taking the back seat out of my 98 was so much easier.

I might be a little tight to have two of them but you might be able to make it work

ever have an issue with the pins that latch the seat not lining up and being too far back with the seat in the upright position? just got a TJ and its like that wonder if something is messed up and how to get it back in place.

No I’ve never had that problem. But what do you mean by operate position? Like when you’re trying to take the seat out or when it’s in its normal

@@t-dogoutdoorstv it’s in the normal seating position but the pins are behind the latches and it still can lift up I gotta mess with it more I’ve seen others have the same problem but nobody has a clear solution it seems

It actually DOES matter what year TJ you have. My '05 has different OEM seats front & rear. I think this started in '03. Please correct your statement.

Pretty sure someone who owned mine before me swapped the brackets or something to have more leg room and less cargo space, because my rear seat doesn’t jump forward like yours does.
