Do you have any idea how I can get lsd locks for the nissan d21 4x4

Can the carrier bolt up to a d22 Xterra? Because you can install a locker on the d21

Honestly not sure, don't have any experience with the d22 xterra.

New to the Datsun Nissan world looking at trying to change the rear end out of my 1967 Datsun 520 pick up . would a 1989 Nissan hardbody rear end work for my Datsun application.?

No wouldn't reccomend it depending on what exact rear end you have the hardbody axle is going to be 6-9" wider making the wheels poke out a ton unless you want that look...

scrappingpavement Not Sure on how this would work but Some suggested that a 1989 Nissan hardbody pick up has 410 gears and a 1967 Datsun 520 has 488 gears. And the Nissan third member will fit into the Datsun 520 axle housing

Yes the h190 axle thirdmemeber are interchangeable I have a datsun 620 axle with a 94 d21 thirdmemeber but you have to make sure the d21 has the h190 axle other models like auto and 4x4 have a hf35 axle and other model axles that are not the same size/bolt pattern.

I have to replace the brake backing plates on my 620. The Horror... The Horror... (anyone know of any videos? I have FSM and words ain't cutting it.

Do you know if this is the same for a 1999 R50 Nissan Pathfinder?

Get a factory third member with LSD out of a first gen WD21

Mine came with lsd from the factory but It def needs a rebuild but you can go to the junkyard get the complete rear diff they have lsd stickers on the pumpkin

You didn't have to take the drums off to remove the axle and 3rd member. Unless you were doing something inside the drums.

rayvan flores to remove the third member you only need to take the outside of the drum off like i did in the beginning of the video and if you want to separate axle and brake the bearings are pressed in so you have to get them pressed out to separate the two.

What year and make is the axel from

2wd Datsun 620. Not exactly sure on the year it came from... somewhere in the mid 70s I believe. Different years have different widths.

It's not a 'tapered wrench', it's called a flare nut wrench.
