Hey world mechanic my sport mode does not work on my bmw e90 328i I already checked the wiring is there something else i can check

I just did a 2007 335i e93, real easy less parts removal, just loosened the nut on the bottom regulator and slid the actuator out,...that's it

I am going to change the actuator in the next few days and your video has already helped me a lot. Many thanks !

how do you install that grey foam back? it sticks on to the old glue or you need a new one?

Good video overall, but should add a few mentions: 1) My new actuator needs holes tapped, check that out on the new part before starting any other work! 2) There's a missing scene to loosen remove the window rail, necessary in order to be able to get the actuator out! 3) Suggest disconnect the battery after you get the window out, so the computer isn't aware of the tinkering going on and you don't drain your battery while the door is open for so long!

Have video on this on 2001 BMW x5 passenger front door actuator replacing it. Great video on this!

Please elaborate on re-installing the door handle light. Mine was a pain to return into place.

At 11:29, you can see there is a hole at left upper (above a x2 bigger hole). This should be the mounting hole for the window rail. This video skipped to mention the removing of this rail. This must be removed to take out the lock actuator. I just changed my lock today following this video, thus have such conclusion. Anyway this video is very helpful for my work today.

13:50 "it comes out only one way"; on the 1 series rear door, there is a lot less room to jiggle, so yeah, you have to get it into the "one way" position or it's not coming out! Tilt the top forward until it aligns with the reinforcing bar on the outer door panel, then if you imagine an L shape formed by the inner door panel and the back edge of the door where the latch is, rotate about 45 degrees around an axis through the corner in the L, so it rotates over the reinforcing bar, then it slides out. Took me ten minutes to figure out all the possible orientations and positions to slide out, but when its right its easy, when its not, its impossible.

Changed my. You skipped one step, how to remove window mechanism , otherwise you cant pull out actuator. And check video about handle installation it will help you. Everything else was helpful. Thanks

Hello. I have a bmw f10. Thefront passage get door is stuck closed. I manage to remove the door panel. But no luck.the metal lever moves but it won't open. What else can I do?

What if I happen to lose a screw that holds the lock actuator? I think I found it but it’s a slipped screw. Won’t be able to screw it back on

So after i finished the repair I got a service lift light on the dash and none of the electrical components work. Windows locks trunk... the music turns on. And also i have to press the start button twice now before the engine turns... and the engines turns slowly. I’m not driving it but I was able to run a diag and received 54 error codes kind of saying the computer isn’t communicating. That’s as far as I got any tips on what could be wrong

What if I can't open the door to get started?

I am replacing the entire front (driver) door (2006 330i) after an accident and can't get the new door on (2007 328i). The main pin/screws will not screw in. Any tips?!?

i believe they changed the body style up on those years, but i could be wrong.. check REALOEM.COM. when u look up a part.. it will have all of the compatible models listed at the bottom of the page

The door lock broke with the driver's door closed. How do I open the door?

My passenger side lock is broken and I cannot open/close the doors from remote. I ordered a new door lock from ebay and I was about to change it tomorrow. Thanks for adding this video. Now I see, it's too much fucking around with it, I will just leave it for mechanic :/

It's not that much stuff he did too much work you do not have to remove the window just unplug the actuator with window and up position turn actuator as you take it out turn it the same way to put it back in

@@ro042098 does that mean ya also don’t need to remove the external handle as well? Just get ya hands in there and disconnect it , as seen on other vids

You need to mention that if you're working on the driver's door, you need to lower the window BEFORE disconnecting the door/window switches! I got my door panel removed and out of the way, and the gasket removed and out of the way, and THEN you tell me I need to lower the window.

You didn't show removing the window mechanism runners to get that out

Just got a quote from the bmw dealer for this same problem. $ 1600. No thank you..

I'm just curious as to why you had to remove the window from the regulator? Is it necessary?

very late but nope not necessary at least on my rear door

Swapped the actuator myself without doing anything with the window or outer handle.. u disconnect the wires through the small holes by the actuator..

hi guys, got two questions, why did you change it? the reason i'm asking, is my key fob central locking works, when it wants to (mainly in winter, or when is cold outside). i know that the key is working perfectly, so the problem lays somewhere else. i've checked the antenna amplifier underneath the spoiler (by eye and nose only) and it looks and smells alright (i've cleaned the connections as well). so second question is could the LHS front door actuator be responsible for it? i've read that that is the actuator 'to rule them all', so could that be true, or are they all the same and the fault must be somewhere else?

my driver door doesn't respond to remote, it remains closed, but can be open by key or open from inside across the passenger side, does it mean I need to replace the actuator?

because mine is not responding to the remote and the key is just moving up and down

I agree, I was trying like nuts to slide the actuator out like in the video, but it's not possible with the widow's track in the way. It's just two nuts to remove, clearly he did that between scenes in the video without ever mentioning it!
