Good video on using wheel bearing removal and installation tool. To people who might be trying to do this at home I would like to give a few additional tips as I have a independent motorcycle shop and change wheel bearings frequently. When you are getting ready to remove the first bearing place wheel on its side so bearing you are going to remove is facing up. Spray some penetrating oil on outside diameter bearing race where it makes contact with rim let it sit for a few minutes so it has a chance of penetrating between outer bearing race and wheel hub. This will prevent galling of the rim bore when you remove the bearing, you can also apply a little heat. This way the bearing will come out easier. After you get the bearing out and clean the bore apply anti seize sparingly to the bore. This will prevent galvanization and make the removal of the bearing the next time easier. Hope this tip along with video on how to use the tool makes the job easier. Again nice video on tool usage.

Great Video short and to the point with no 3 minute intro or 5 minute monologue about the history of bearings I have the same kit, the kit works even better when you lube the washers and threats with 90w less friction on moving parts. A 49$ remove and install kit will save you about 500 bucks of shop work. If you are attempting this on your own, try to have someone with you, because installing the tire, spacers and caliper all at the same time is a big pain in the arse if you've never done it before. Your first time will probably take you a few hours from start to riding again. Also if I may, Do your self a favor and mix synthetic Transmission fluid with acetone, 1/2 and 1/2 mix well and put it on your barring you are going to take off. The Acetone Dives the Tranny fluid between the barring and the hub. Tranny fluid and acetone works better than any penetrating product on the market, what you don't use save for rusted bolts on other projects but you have to mix it again because it separates quickly. I learned that from my Uncle who owned a Crop and dairy farm now I'm sharing it with you.

I know you can't title it this way, swearing and all, but the title should end with "without all the bullshit." Great video because it's the average guy working on his bike, not some guy who has a fancy bearing press given to him from some sponsor- that we can't afford. Thanks. I'm gonna hit up amazon and buy one of those kits too.

Wats up Danny. Hey man I really dig your videos on working on your bike. This one exspecially because Iam about to change out my bearings soon. Perfect timing. And I’ve always looked at a real biker as one who works on his own bike. None of the bikers I grew up looking up to as role models took their bikes to dealership. They would rather have a beat down then let dealership work on their bike. For real I dig all your videos tho. Thanks bro
