Thanks to this video I had a courage to try it myself. Results: I think I proud that did process of the grill surround detaching and attaching it back. Together with this, few annoying difficulties probably will stop me to repeat the thing and here they are: 1. The work should be done in appropriate place with lots of space and good lightning condition. 2. Having proper tools - THIS IS THE MUST of the procedure. I waisted so much time, trying to unscrew the 4 cross screws with simple ratchet from Walmart, was ready to give up every minute. 3. The second person who can assist (holding a flashlight, or helping with falling bumper cover) - huge benefit 4. Taking the grill shell out was absolute headache. These guys are pros, looking this video, I thought, the shell just need to be pushed out, while pushing some plastic "tongs". Incorrect - there were something like 12 clips around the shell, during procedure, I broke 2 of them. At the end - I done it. Will not detail about my disappointing trying to repaint it.....

It's not that bad actually, it just requires some creative thinking and a bit of force when it's necessary. 1. I did this in small garage having maybe one meter between the front of the car and the wall, on each side I had less than 50cm, barely to squeeze in. That was enough to lay down on each side and do the job. In the front I also did not need that much space, you just have to pull it enough to get your hands inside and see something. 2. Set of tools I used is: 1/4" ratchet with 10mm socket and sort of medium philips head, one long flat screwdriver, old credit cards (I use them as spacers to avoid scratching the paint) and old, bent fork for clips removal. 3. Creative thinking my dear. I've just put 5 liter bottle of roundup in front of the bumper and it was the perfect height to hold it in proper position. I'd really recommend getting head light. Those are dirt cheap and make any kind of job much easier. Even though I used it, I've just put this above radiator to have some illumination inside. It really does not need any helpers. 4. Yes, this was a headache. I actually removed 2 additional screws on the bottom to pull out the mesh first (it unclips with the large clips from inside and you can push it in and take it completely out). Then I had much better access to side clips and I used long flat screwdriver and credit card to pry them (those "tongs") and pull the shell out. The problem with those side clips is that they tend to bite the plastic and even if you try to pull them out, they may break. With proper tools maybe you can do it quickly and easily but with no tools to remove it, I'd rather pick the way I did it again. Two screws on the bottom sides out, take the mesh out, pull the shell and use screwdriver from inside to pry each of those little tongs. They get out quite easily this way and you will not damage anything. The credit cards turned out to be quite useless, they only sometimes work. I actually used them to push the fender plastic covers back in place without damaging anything. It's always a trial and error but don't say that it is that complicated and demanding, most people with some basic manual skills should be able to do it one way or another with no help and just a basic ratchet with 10mm socket and medium philips head. I actually used regular philips screwdriver for the first 4 bolts holding the shell and mesh together but the last two did not have enough space to squeeze it in. Correct size of the philips screwdriver is necessary as those bolts may be already rusted. Wrong size will just strip it completely but you will feel if you turn the screw or strip it. Anyways, this video was a great help in figuring out where to look for bolts and clips although I did not expect that removing the ones on the sides will be that much of a pain. I even think that it might be safer to do it my way as you never even put anything near the paint, no worries about scratching or chipping anything.

So good video, thank you! Is it possible, without partially lowering the bumper, somehow squeeze the hand and unscrew 4 screws that hold the grill surround?
