1. Assemble tools and prepare
Here's what you'll need:
- a toothpick
- a credit card or business card
- an alcohol wipe and microfiber cloth (optional)
2. Lift the corner of the screen protector with a toothpick
Start on the top right corner of your iPhone screen protector and use the toothpick to carefully lift the screen protector glass away from the screen. You only have to lift it off just enough to slide a card under the protector.
3. Loosen the edges of the glass with a card
Take a credit card or business card and insert it under the screen protector, about 1/2" toward the center of the phone. Next, slide the card around the entire perimeter of the iPhone until you return to the initial position. Repeat this process one additional time for good measure. This will help lift and loosen the edges of the screen protector.
4. Slowly remove the screen protector
With the card still inserted at the top of the iPhone, slide the card all the way under the glass across the entire width of the iPhone. Slowly slide the card down towards the bottom of the phone, while simultaneously lifting the screen protector away from the screen. The key is to do this slowly as possible, as to not apply much pressure and bend to the glass (which may cause it to crack).
5. Finishing touches
Once you have successfully removed the screen protector, use an alcohol wipe and then a micro fiber cloth to clean the screen. Viola!
