I appreciate that! I have struggled with quite a few over the years! We used to work on grain bins and getting some of those fan blades off (12"-20" usually) was a bear, you had to heat it up quick as possible and put the portapower on it until it popped off and many times shot feet from where they were being removed. Fun stuff. At least those you could get a good solid bite on because they were made to be pulled off. Thanks for watching!

My Cub Cadet XT1 has the new axles with flats 180 degrees apart. And a bolt in the end to hold it on. I stuck a 2x4 (end wise) up against the back of the rim and pounded it with a big hammer. When they painted the wheel they didn't mask the hole! From the factory!!! I had to use paint remover and a wire bore brush on the wheel to clean it up. Sanded the axle shaft and greased it when I put it back together. Smooth. :)

This is the exact action that ruins the transmission many times. I am glad it came off for you! There is a lot of weight being held only in one small spot made of aluminum so if you hit too hard on the inside of the rim with anything to support the other end many times they will break. I would tell you I didn't believe they didn't mask the hole from the factory but then I would be lying to you. Quality control just isn't quality anymore either unfortunately. Thanks for watching!

After dripping diesel( best po mans bolt breaker) into the hub on a tilt, I put a 2x4 behind wheel to pry and shim it with something to keep pressure and use an air hammer or scaling gun with pointed chisel in center hole, lotsa beats do a lot with minimal damage. then apply anti seize before install. If only they were tapered, they wouldn't stick. Great channel.
