I bought a 2021 Santa Fe and the previous owner did not delete his account from the car. So I am assuming now that I own it he can open my doors and everything? If I delete his/her account, then they can no longer access the vehicle right?

Exactly if you remove the previous person from the blue link set up they no longer have access to the vehicle🙂✅

Well that’s wonderful, since Carvana has my old car now. edit: I may have found it in “My data and privacy” then the car tab of that page. It makes you cancel the bluelink subscription, wait 24 hours, then should let me remove the car.

my 2021 Elantra does not have that option. blue link telling me I have to send them contract insurance and drivers license to remove previous owner. WHICH IS BULLSHIT!

@@doolanbrian Sorry blue link I’m trying to deactivate it form the current user and link mine but when I hit the blue link button on the car it only shows me 3 options and won’t let me scroll down. No the Kona is not electric

It should be the same so you go into Bluelink icon ... then you go to Bluelink settings, and you should be able to scroll the page upwards with your finger, it should give you options such as ☑️activate Bluelink, ☑️modem information, ☑️code, ☑️Blue link activation help, ☑️off-line mode, ☑️terms of use, ☑️privacy notice, ☑️deactivate Bluelink and reset to default If you don’t have these you need to visit the dealer or make sure blue link is actually active on the model you have purchased !

I have a 2019 Santa Fe and it didn’t give me that option

What stage are you at ??? 🙂 if you remove the phone from the car as per this video , you can then go to the app and remove the car from the app on your phone also 🙂
