Supertech Electronics is an Australian owned and operated electronic repair shop that specializes in the repair of audiovisual equipment. About 80% of our repairs are factory car stereo systems. Hey Mike, i've got the same issue with the security code. Been trawling to find what the actual code is, apparently theres some maths involved with the serial number to get to the code. Can you share your method please? Gav Melbourne Oz

@@mrcrumblechan1455 Add 1212 to the last 4 digits of the radio serial (eg. last 4 digits of serial 6789 would make the radio code 8001), pressing 1-4 will scroll the numbers in those slots, 5 to confirm.

Hi OP! Our i30 has a blanking panel at the top, rather than the storage bin. It seems really well sealed in. Do you have any tips on getting the panel off please?

@@TikusTakusen From what I can work out, the blanking panel is a permanent part of the shroud and there are no screws underneath it, holding the shroud at the top, but I still couldn't get it off. It started cracking around the air vents while I was pulling, so I aborted mission. Sorry.
