Hiya I was wondering do you have a video showing how to plumb in a tumble dryer please? Mines arrived today and its a heat pump with a water drawer but it has come with a drainage pipe ...I have an extra pipe under the sink which I think its supposed to go on ....the washing machine drainage is on one and there's a spare...I'm hoping for the tumble. Thank you!

It furthers our skills and knowledge, thus helping obviate the need to become a victim of the dreaded couldn't care less, in a mad rush, self taught plumber who is teaching himself on your job. As someone who can spot a tosser a mile away, I reckon you know your stuff. Thank you, please keep the videos coming.

Just remember to make sure your water is turned off. Son-in-law wanted to remove an isolated pipe in his flat which didn't seem to go anywhere. Pipe cutter in hand and ready to go, I asked if he was absolutely sure the pipe wasn't "live" and I just grabbed a spanner to check by loosening the connection. You guessed it, Whoosh.... so glad it was just loosened and not cut!!!

I'm in the throws of taking on the bathroom/toilet - it's the only toilet in the house. I'm trying to do all I can before I take out bath and separate shower etc. I've taken of the tiles where I can and doing that has ruined the plasterboard and on one of the rendered walls the render has come adrift from the wall - so that will need to come down. Luckily I got an SDS drill for this job. I've been looking at these boards, I noticed you said you'll use 'Hardibacker' - what are your thoughts on the lighter weight boards like the Wedi type ones - much lighter and easier to cut than the cement boards. I was thinking of replacing plasterboard with these and possibly fix to the masonry wall as well. Loved the vid, keep 'em coming. Oh year, it's a real pain trying to get shot of old plasterboard in our area.
