How To Reinstall Or Change Vultr Servers OS With A Fresh Or New Image

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

In this video, I will show you how to reinstall or change your Vultr servers Operating System (OS). A server reinstallation will permanently delete all the data that currently exists on your server and replace the current OS installed on your server with the same version. Changing the OS to a different OS on your server will likewise wipe all the data that currently exists on your server. It is therefore very important, that you back up all existing data on your server that you would like to keep. Both a Vultr server reinstallation and an OS change will not change the current IP address that your server has. This is useful as you won't need to redirect any traffic to another server IP address.
