Hi do i need an admission letter from the university first so i can apply or its okay to apply before having the admission letter, iam expected to be in germany in September 2024 do you advise me to apply for a dorm from now !? Thank you

You should have an admission prior to it. That will be suggested. And it's okay, even if you apply in July when admission result comes for winter semester, you will get rooms

Hey bro what should I fill up in the name and First Name part? Does Name mean the "surname" or "family name"?

hello, when i received my university admission i applied at the web site and then confirmed my application via the email they sent me, however, when i kept checking my status by clicking revise application in the email it kept saying : your application for a room in one of our hostels has been confirmed then after almost 17 days it says this: The application could be confirmed in the database can not be found. so iam affraid they canceled my application for a room thats why i received this notification from the website. or maybe its normal. iam confused do you have any idea or did this happend to your application as well? also is there any requirments to apply for a room, do i need to be enrolled in the university? because i havent payed my first semester fees yet since the semester hasnt started or its okay to apply if you have an admission only?

Ideally it is fine but I guess you need to pay for the first semester since it gives you matriculation certificate which is proof. Try mailing Mr. Kevin or the email from which you got that mail.

Is it possible to book before reaching paderborn and registering in course

You can do that but if get an offer and you are not in position to accept it, you will go back of the line ideally

when i select uni parderborn it doesnt give me the option for winter semester 2024. Should I select in the current semester and then put in the start date of 1st Oct?

If you got the admission already then do that else wait till you get confirmation for admission. Right now it will be too soon for winter semester that’s why it isnt showing

@@jhanikhil19 yeah I have already got the admit should I wait for it show winter semester or just simply select 1st October. Will it create any problems or hastles later on because I selected current semester

How much time it will take to get students dorm ?? I've applied before 1.3 month ago but still didn't get any update..

It can 2-3 months. But I guess before October you will get an offer.
