I clean my paddle brush one step with a rat tail comb to get the hair out, and then I use tweezers and an alcohol swab to clean between the bristles. It’s tedious, but it works. i LOVE that thing. SO MUCH.

I dry clean my hair by putting a stocking cap over the brush, then when I brush my hair, the oils and product are captured in the stocking. I pull the stocking off the brush and you can see all the dirt, oils and products on the stocking.

Gorgeous hair! Very helpful video!! I used a mask over my nose and mouth, and also glasses when I sprayed the dry shampoo! These helped tremendously. 😊

I've go the opposite problem. My 2.4 week silk press is looking flat. Will dry shampoo help, or putting my hair up into a pineapple? Thx!

Hot Tools make a version of the Revlon One Step with detectable heads to swap out between the paddle brush and the volumizing brush and have 2 sizes for the volumizing brush, so 3 brushes in all. I also have the Revlon one step paddle brush and clean it with a rattail comb for the hair in the bristles and a Q-Tip dipped in alcohol or a toothbrush for the rest of the brush to clean the gunk off.

I am so excited. I was just thinking (after your last tutorial) that I hope she shares a dry shampoo tutorial. I prefer not to make recommendations for vlogs unless viewers are specifically asked. Looking forward to this as I maintain my silk press. Thanks!

Great video for those who straighten their hair, and want to extend the silk press. I can refer my silk press friends to this video. I think it will be helpful to them. Are there any cleaning instructions that came with the brush?

Hey love. You should get straight blow outs instead of flat ironing your hair if u like puffy silk presses. Technically puffy and silk press don’t go together so to avoid putting unnecessary flat iron heat I think u should just stick to the blow dryer and a round brush ! All love

Gorgeous hair - I've tried dry shampoos in the past didn't like them they made my scalp itch and dried my hair out. Would have thought they would make them more environmentally friendly lol 😮‍💨

I had a bad reaction from my mom using a "dry shampoo" in my hair when I was little...so no thank you! lol! No- No! The chemicals were potent and I was inhaling it and she didn't realize it. I went into a panic!
