    So I have this shoulder pain around rear area, probably from improper serve technique. So pain stays especially with external rotation of humerus and when I put shoulders back and down. Now Pain reduced by around 90% instantly after this!! Specifically after the arm bend and neck exercise. Thank you!!

    This is a great routine, I can feel it triggering the exact muscles that usually hurt when I serve. Thanks for posting this!

    If you feel pain when you try the nerve drill, i would start by doing the same thing but on the other arm. And then as your system improves, move to doing it with the problem side.

    Thanks! Cant wait to try the neck exercises. Except for some golfers elbow I have few pain problems except for my neck, especially after about an hour of repetative serve practice.

    There is so much work that foes into keeping the top guys healthy. During the french open commentary they were talking about how Djokovic stretches 4 times per day! It's one of the things that separates the top players, especially those that have long careers.

    Wow, great video and very helpful. I desperatly need some help. I am feeling shoulder pain only when I serve and few days afterwards. Can you give me some more tips on how to prevent shoulder injuries when serving? Should I tuck in my shoulder? Maybe the problem is in my racket.

    @@hunter1211 Sorry to hear you are struggling. Obviously without knowing your history or seeing you serve it's impossible to make specific recommendations. Working on the drills in this video regularly can go a long way. But you want more in depth help, the best plan is if we have a quick chat, so I can learn more. @@TennisHacker Thank you, I appreciate you concern. Unfortunately my English speaking skills are quite poor and I dont want to make you feel unconfortable. I am from Serbia btw. Main problem along with my bad technice is my racket. It is quite stiff(70RA) and has high vibration frequency(157).On top of that I am using poly strings(TF black code) at 25kg(around 56lbs). Can you recomend me some arm friendly rackets? I heard some bad opinions about forced pronation, can you tell something more about it? I hope your chanell grows cause it has a lot of quality content.

    @TheCreativeModellerHO Yes. I prefer cables to bands. it's just easier to demo on court with bands 😀

    Great video! I noticed all the band exercise you recommend are ones where your palm is facing the anchor point. Why don't you recommend ones where the back of your hand faces the anchor point? Thank you

    Generally people have an imbalance between the muscles that internally rotate and pull the shoulders forward compared to the the muscles that externally rotate and pull the shoulders back. So all these drills help to address the common imbalance.

    Yes you can! I actually prefer dumbbell’s or cables, but not everyone has access to them which is why i didn’t he banded variation.

    The most challenged movement of the thoracic spine for tennis movement is rotation. Why you don't include it here?

  • @TennisHacker

    @TennisHacker

    2 жыл бұрын

    There are a lot of movements I could include. As you said, rotation already gets challenged a lot, so this routine focuses on other movements the spine needs to be capable of.
