If you add some soil and cow dung. I just added some pond plants and it grew on it's own

Mmmm maybe yes maybe no. Because with azolla u hav to put animal poop regularly 😅. It may be hard for the fishes 😢

The fish will eat it before it gets chance to grow. Use a container that floats but uses the water from the pond keeping the fish out. You can hand feed the fish a little each day.

Azolla is better. Just drive around and you will see ponds with it in. Grab yourself a hand full. Life is about sharing!

Azolla is better. It's weights far more than duckweed and so a better yield per square mt of water

I've found that what they say about keeping catfish isn't always the truth, they are hardy fish. I checked my ammonia level, and the colour was off the chart. My fish were happily swimming fast, they weren't coming up for air. You don't have filters. Anybody with filters duckweed blocks your system. Whilst I remember, on the site 20k fish, I looks like you have 50mm out let pipes , 2 coming out of one tank into 50mm drain pipe, wouldn't it jave been better to use at least 75mm or even 110 mm ad some Roding eyes every 25 m. Just a thought.

Hello @ukghconst , that’s a very good observation on the catfish tolerance level and plumbing works. On the 20k concrete pond, the outlet is actually 75mm each that goes into a 110mm main drainage pipe. Thanks for the thoughtful suggestion though. I appreciate
