There were a couple of 100 childhood pictures and videos on my canon camera but accidentally got erased a few years ago and I have tried everything to get them back but nothing helped. Like there’s literally nothing on the memory card when I try to recover. Will I ever see them again? Please help me😭😭😭🙏🙏

I have been using Disk Drill PRO over the years, and recovered critical files with it. Love it! Quick question: a CF Card I used with my Canon camera doesn't show up on my Mac ("the disk you inserted was not readable by this computer"). My Canon camera says "Card 1 not formatted." Disk Drill sees it as a 33.5 Mb volume while it is a 16 GB card. I've come to the conclusion I should format it with my camera, and deep scan with Disk Drill. What do you think?

Failed to mention the $90 tag for recovery of my video

Excellent video. Deserves way more views. I copied my video files from my Lumix camera to my computer by just plugging into my camera via USB. I thought all of the files copied over because it said 100% successful! So I deleted the source files using my computer. However, when I checked the destination folder on my PC, it only had 5 out of the 10+ video files! What!? Recovering now… Hope this works!

I want to know two things 1) is it possible to recover the lost vids and photos and place them back in my camcorder if so how and 2) ive recovered vids but it’s been slap it into pieces so it’s more like pics am I able to retrieve it all as a whole like it was in the first place?

Thanks for commenting! Three activations per one user mean that you cannot share your Disk Drill license code with other people. It's for your personal use only, and you can install it on the same or different computer three times, simultaneously or consecutively. There are no limitations in the amount of data you can recover. Activations can be reset if needed.

You can connect your SD card to a PC via card reader and scan it with a free version of Disk Drill. Preview your files to make sure they are recoverable.

Check the card reader and USB connections, and try different ports or a different card reader. Use Disk Utility on your MacBook Air to attempt repairs. If the SD card is still not recognized, use recovery software like Disk Drill. Try the SD card on another computer or operating system. Please mind, that Disk Drill can't be installed on a phone, you need to have a Mac computer.
