@howfinity any idea what to do if messages isn’t an option shown on the toggle list of data types to download? Or what would cause that?

Can you get pictures & info from other people fb or messenger if there near you or do you need to be logged in to there account?

I would like to recover some videos from my newborn baby that I shared with my family by Facebook messenger. this does not recover deleted msgs only msgs that were not deleted.

It takes a while for them to send you this. I just edited out the part where I waited. But it took a little time and it said pending for mine too.

@@Howfinity Do you remember how long this process took? Sounds like FB employees may have to receive the request and process it for you. Mine was from a year ago and only one day of messages but it's saying pending. Will it be pending in the background for days as you use the app?
