Great tip exactly what I needed!

The only tip I believe is missing from this is setting the vocal to record dry so you don’t have to rerecord if you want to change the effects but I like that it is straight to the point

Buffer size and latency in milliseconds depends on what your device and interface is capable

Yeah that’s my only problem with recording in FL. It makes projects HUGE and slow sometimes (even on good computers) with all tracks saved including outtakes. It also takes too long to completely delete unused recordings, especially when in the flow of things. That’s why I produce on FL, but record on Pro Tools. Wish FL could fix that so we can do everything in FL 😅.

click on ^ above master send of your mixer channel (recording on insert 1, it will say "disable send from insert 1 to master" when hoving over the ^

just choose different DEVICE in the first step... I chose ASIO or sth like that and then I saw my mic in there

My mic is not showing up in the input area. And my input/output is set to Volt 1(my interface) but still no sound

Cant seem to get my head around thiss still, cant get to the mono output towards the end, i create a new audio track but i dont get the same icons appear on the track like you do, just the same

what version of fl studio does this work on? Coz I'm using v20.1.2 and those steps don't seem to apply on my version.
