You can upload 1 hour then start a new recording afterwards that will give you 2 hours. You will however need to merge them via your computer.

Guys this also works on xbox 1

Record your voice onto something like your phone or computer, and then use an editing source such as iMovie or another and put the screen play and the voice together

Make sure that you get a usb

Did you follow all the steps? Cuz I want to try this out but I don't know if I need a PC/Laptop for this.

I followed your directions. Even purchased the exact same usb drive you have in the video. Nothing has changed but my captured location. My recording duration has remained the same. Can anyone help me find out why I can't record an hour after doing everything exactly as I see it on this video???

Restart your console, make sure it’s up to date & it should work out.

First comment haha but quick question is using a flash drive better than an external ssd because i was planning on returning mine since i got a better deal for more storage but found out you can't use your game drive as your recording storage. Basically does it make sense to return the external ssd and buy a flash drive for cheaper or just keep the ssd

Hey i had a question so i recorded my first gameplay and it worked great but when i tried recoridng my second hour it seems that no notification popped up, i assumed there was an issue so i unplugged the usb and put it on my pc to see if i still got the footage. Unfortunately it didnt save any of the footage any idea how to fix this? The usb notification popped up when i put it on my xbox maybe i just had to wait longer for the recording to save before unplugging the usb?

I have samsung flach 3.1 128 gb but the device tells me it's very slow

I did this with a usb but it says that it’s not 3.0 and it’s to slow even tho it is and yes I formatted already pls someone help I might have to just return it😢

I got a sandisk 3.0 256 GB Switched to NTFS. Went and set as captured. Still can’t go for longer than 1 minute. Please help

Wait until the game loads then hit record. If you start to record too soon it won’t record.

@eymenkaya1068 it could be associated with the space available on ur console. Make sure you have enough space to record + have the latest update installed. If none works try changing the usb device it could be the reason 🤙

Does this actually work? I’ve read online at iPhone only support exFat/fat32. Does it support NTFS?

I bouught a usb but the only issue is when I record it has these little stutters and when I edit the video it just messes up the audio because of the glitches

Facts. Same thing with my usb. I think the usb has small write speeds. Meaning when u record the megabits per second isn't fast enough for the video to playback smoothly . This is purely because a usb isn't the same thing as a hard drive. A hard drive has higher write speeds than a usb. Usb are mostly used for portable documents format/pdf . Not mpeg/motion pictures experts group.

Depends on how many times you wanna record a 10-20 min video & at what quality however 2gb should be fine.
