Excellent video and I have a quick question. I plan to install a bow mounted Minnkota saltwater trolling motor on the back of my boat. I have a rail in the front and it will not fit there. This means that the boat will not turn in the same direction as the trolling motor because when the motor turns left in the back, the boat will go right and vice versa just as it would with the boat’s engine. So my question if you are using a track, would the heading sensor control the direction of the boat even though the trolling motor is mounted at the back?

Once a track is recorded, you can hop on it at any point of the track. You need to be fairly close distance wise- around 500 feet I think?. When you select the track and end/start of that track, the motor will take you to the nearest point on the track and then make a sharp turn onto the track. These turns can be kinda wicked, so be ready!

When you are making a track with the outboard motor and the trolling motor is not deployed and the control head is is approx. 4 0r 5 ft from the center of the bow of the boat.
